OUR STORY Thank you for taking the time to learn about Contempo Creations. Many people who know me have asked how Contempo Creations started. So here’s the story; one of which I’m very proud of.Growing up in Central Wisconsin I made a lucky find at a garage sale. Barely a teenager, and with my mom’s approval I brought home my slightly used candlemaking kit. Excited and curious I opened the box and not soon after my first candle was born! It was years later, after attending college and working over a decade in the broadcasting industry, that I decided to take my love for crafts and turn it into a home-based business....or, at least give it my best try. Living now in Florida, I converted my garage into my own little “Candle Factory” and in the summer of 2000 Contempo Creations was born. My first customers were family and friends and with their encouragement I began setting up at local craft shows in Southwest Florida....with great success! Soon following Contempo Creations expanded its product base to include a complete line of bath & body products to compliment our candles.The Contempo Creations line can now be found in fine retail stores all across the United States.Sincerely, Nanci M.
